Unknown Final Edit

This is our final film opening which we both equally filmed, Charlie took the role of editing, including colour grading and titles & Caitlin took the role of sound in our short opening.

14th February Update

Caitlin:

Sound
I have used some of the sounds from the actual recording on the edit, such as the beeping of the card and the sound of the door opening. Other sounds like footsteps have been found, but haven't been put on there yet. The soundtrack has not been added either.

Camera
Half of the shots were filmed by me and the others by Charlie.

MES
The location, props and costume was a decision made by both me and Charlie.

Improvements
There is still a lot that needs to be improved, such as more sound effects added and the titles and colouring grading needs to be added.

At this moment in time, The editing is very limited. Some titles have been uploads and a few effects have been added to the first couple of sequences. With running behind schedule, its been difficult to catch up but i have been staying behind after school and completing the editing in some spare time.

Camera

MES
The location along with props and costumes etc was a mutual agreement between us.

Improvements

We have loads to improve. I still need to edit which includes adding the colour grading & text. I also need to help with the sound.

Unspoken Review

L4 - Excellent 

Sound - L4

Sound was narrated which means the person is hiding their identity or is insecure, which matches the title of opening. 

Mes - L3

No specific costume that can be identified but no costume is really needed. 

No make up / natural 

The props used was a bag and a map 

the lighting was quite bright 

Camera - L3

Shots & angles were good

No tripod was used

Shallow Focus 

rules of thirds were used

Edit - L4

Excellent colour Grading

No Motion tracking but titles were integrated 

Doesn't look like a thriller but leaves us with Enigma Codes

29th January Update

Test Shoot

*Not Fully Finished*

This is our test shoot for our Thriller opening, we decided to have freeze frames during our sequence so we can add our motion tracking text. some frames like the walking one will have motion tracking on whilst its moving but the gap in-between our actors walking was too short so freezing it for 2 seconds, allowed us more time to add text. Although the text is not on this video just yet, we will get it on soon. 

On the day of filming, we had a Dilemma because one of our backup actors never turned up. Our main actors we are using were busy on the day of filming so we used our back up actors. When one never turned up, we decided to problem solve and only film the scenes which involve the actor that turned up. When we got to the difficult scenes like the chase scene, we decided to call it off as it was too difficult to film.
